2. How many Chart of accounts can be assigned to a company code

Three. At least one Operating Chart of accounts should be assigned to a company code and you can use two additional charts of accounts namely Group chart of accounts and Country-specific chart of accounts.

3. What are the major components of Chart of Accounts.

Chart of Accounts key, Description, Maintenance Language,

Length of GL account number, Controlling integration, Group chart of account for consolidation, Blocked status indicator.

Tcode FS00
To create GL accounts centrally which includes both Chart of Accounts segment and Company Code segment

Tcode FSP0
To create GL accounts for Chart of Accounts segment only. Here we create the GL accounts at Chart of account level which will be used by all company codes using this particular chart of accounts

Tcode FSS0
To create GL accounts for Company Code segment provided the Chart of Accounts segment for this GL account has already been created using FS00 or FSP0

Cost Centre block report

To Run a Report for Locked Cost Centers in controlling Area.

Use Tcode SE16

Select the Table CSKS

Select your controlling Areaà enter X in Lock indicator for Actual postings

Execute.

Transfer to Excel.

From SAP Easy Access.

Use Tcode KS13

Select All Cost Center

Execute

In the Report EditàSet Filter

 

Choose

Enter X for choosing the Locked Cost Centers.

 

Enter.

The Report for Locked Cost Center is Ready.
